How to host multiple domains on a single hosting plan?

Take advantage of unlimited web space per domain to host, launch and manage unlimited domains, cost effectively! Follow steps below to host multiple domains on a single hosting package:

1. Click here to register as many domains with FREE Domain Forwarding and Managed DNS.
2. On one primary domain (viz. http://domain1.com) Book One Hosting Plan with Unlimited Space, Bandwidth, Free Email and Databases with POP/SMTP access for Rs.145/Mo.
3. Create one folder or sub-domain for each additional domain name using your hosting control panel.
4. Put all your files, scripts and content for each domain in respective folder or sub-domain. Activate and test each website at http://domain1.com/folder or http://folder.domain1.com.
5. Activate Domain Forwarding on your additional domains e.g. http://domain2.com, http://domain3.com, etc.
5. Forward http://domain2.com to http://domain1.com/folder or http://folder.domain1.com.
6. You can hide the destination URL by enabling URL Masking. That means when user open http://domain2.com, he will see content hosted on http://domain1.com/folder or http://folder.domain1.com BUT he cannot know it.

Notes: Optionally, you can book email hosting on each domain separately (if required).

Wild carded Sub-domain Forwarding and Path Forwarding - You can setup wild carded forwarding such that each sub domain (eg http://jobs.yourdomain.com) forwards to independent destinations automatically. Also you can enable path information to be replicated in the destination URL such that http://www.yourdomain.com/path1/path2 gets forwarded to http://destinationURL/path1/path2

Search Engine Optimization and backward compatibility - You can set the tag content, in order to provide tags and for search engine optimization. You can also set the tag content for compatibility with browsers that do not support frames.

Addon Domains & Domain Forwarding: A separate domain that is hosted in your primary IndiaHosting.org account, which appears as if it is hosted on its own account. If ‘osspl.com’ is your primary domain and you add your existing domain ‘newdomain.com’ as an addon in your Control Panel, a user browsing to ‘newdomain.com’ will see ‘newdomain.com’ in the URL despite the fact that they will be viewing content from a specific folder under your primary domain’s account.

Parked Domains as Forwarded Domain: A parked domain is used when you want the same content that is hosted on your primary domain to be visible on another domain. This is commonly used when someone owns different extensions of the same domain name such as ‘website.com’, ‘website.net’ and ‘website.org’. If you sign up and register ‘domain.com’ as your primary domain, along with ‘domain.org’ and ‘domain.net’, the other two domains can be entered into your Control Panel under parked domains and will redirect/forward to your primary domain.
